Description

“Pas de deux” is a ballet term used to describe a graceful, romantic dance for two, usually set to a moderate tempo. In this original musical composition by Richard Frazier, the violin and piano assume terpsichorean roles to music composed with a “fin de siècle” tone of post-romantic sentiment expressed by the composer in his performing instructions as, “somewhat languid and respectfully decadent.” The solo part is of an intermediate/moderately difficult rating and is edited by Strauss Shi. The set comes with a version for viola edited by Patrick Kroboth.  Duration: 4 minutes
